Who We Are

When a person is challenged by an incurable illness and the journey of treatment ends, here the role of the Hospice Egypt project begins in supporting terminally-ill patients. Hospice Egypt is a JOSAAB Foundation project.
JOSAAB Foundation is a non-profit organization; registered under license number 7800 for year 2010, at the Egyptian Ministry of Social Affairs.

Our Impact Is Measurable

Hospice services are found worldwide mainly in developed countries; however there is an immense need for these services in low-middle income developing countries such as Egypt. The project is alleviating the suffering of thousands of patients and family members through leading the hospice movement in Egypt. Every patient and family we serve is documented on our confidential data system and to make sure our services meet up to quality standards we analyze our data regularly.

5 November ,2023 The Secretariat of Specialized Medical Centers at the Egyptian Ministry of Health held its annual oncology conference in the presence of many consultants and specialists in oncology medicine and surgery in the Arab Republic of Egypt and the sisterly Arab countries. The presence of Hospice Egypt was remarkable, as everyone expressed their support for the charitable work that Hospice Egypt does in supporting patients in their days. Run for Hospice

14 July ,2023 On Friday, July 14 - 2023 and for the second year in a row, and organized by Hospice Egypt, A Run for Hospice Marathon was held on the banks of the Cairo Nile in the Manial region, in cooperation with the Rx Runners team, with the participation of more than 300 runners representing the volunteers in Hospice Egypt and a large number of students of governmental, public and private universities, and in the presence of representatives of the National Cancer Institute, the strategic partner of the Foundation in Caring for terminal patients.
