On January 21st, 2021, a meeting was held to sign a protocol of collaboration between Hospice Egypt presented in the signature by Dr. Tandiar Samir, General Manager of Hospice Egypt, and Rotary of the Rotary District 2451, presented in the signature by Mr. Osama Al-Ahmar, Governor of Rotary District 2451, with the aim of joint cooperation to serve terminally ill patients and their families.


We are honored to announce that a protocol of collaboration has been signed between us (AUSSS) and Hospice Egypt, aiming to raise the awareness of the community about Hospice Egypt‘s services and networking them with those who need such services.


The Egyptian Medical Syndicate cooperated with Hospice Egypt by donating an advertisement for the Hospice Egypt project and services in the medical yearbook issued by the Syndicate and distributed nationwide. Prof. Dr. Hussein Khairy, Director of the Egyptian Medical Syndicate, gave a speech at the celebration of World Hospice Day 2021, where he explained the huge need for Hospice services in Egypt, which exceeds 250,000 terminally ill patients yearly. Dr. Khairy explained that Hospice Egypt's services are varied and free of charge provided to the patient in the late stages of his illness in 4 governorates and expressed his dream of the availability of such a service throughout Egypt.
