TV channel hosted the Hospice Egypt team in its morning program (Today's
Program). Dr. Rania Younis,
team leader, explained the concept of hospice globally, the history of Hospice
Egypt, and its pioneering role in caring for patients in the last days of the
disease, whose number exceeds 254 thousand cases annually. Mario Milad, a field
coordinator, explained Hospice Egypt's free services to patients and their families,
which are provided in the governorates of Cairo, Giza, and Qalyubia and about the
importance of the role of volunteers in the hospice.
