Volunteer Training: Emirates NBD Volunteers

Hospice Egypt conducted a training session to the volunteer team from the Emirates NBD in Egypt about the meaning and conditions of different ways of volunteering that could be offered to terminally-ill patients. Dr. Martina Raafat, a psychiatrist and volunteer with Hospice Egypt gave a session on dealing with terminally-ill patients and different personality types. The training session took place at the bank’s headquarters in the 5th Settlement, Cairo and among those attending was the program manager and the head of corporate social responsibility of the bank.
