Hospice Egypt Volunteers at Beit El Hanaa

On November of 2018, Hospice Egypt’s team had planned a training day for volunteers at Beit El Hanaa. Among the activities of the day was a visit to the stationary hospice building and a workshop on how to provide different services to terminally-ill patients. Dr. Martina Raafat, a volunteering psychiatrist has made a great contribution to the day through a thorough explanation of the phases that a terminally-ill patient goes through and the roles of each member of the team and volunteers that can help patients through each phase. Many group games and activities were enjoyed by the attendees for a more light-hearted end to the training day.
