Hospice Egypt Team at the Ahram Canadian University

Aiming to introduce and disseminate the idea of hospice care, the Hospice Egypt team set-up a booth at the Ahram Canadian University (ACU) campus on Wednesday 30th April 2014. The event was a great success, thanks to the Secretary General of the ACU who was very cooperative and welcomed the team to the university grounds. The students at the ACU interacted very positively and wanted to get more involved with the idea of volunteering with the team; not only did they fill out the application forms, but they also gave monetary donations, and further networked the Hospice Egypt team with health care advocate organizations founded within the university. The project also aims to further increase the youth participation and encourage them to volunteer in different ways.
