Masr filmed an entire footage with JOSAAB Foundation Hospice Egypt team, who spoke
about the mission of the foundation, described their line of work and explained
how the team tries their best to fulfill the last wishes of terminally-ill
patients.
There
are two types of hospice, one of the Hospice Egypt team explained, mobile and stationary
that both focus on preserving the dignity and enhancing the quality of life of
terminally-ill patients till the end. The footage also showed that the
conversations the team has with the patient about their daily life, family
and wishes are a significant part of the social support the team provides. Their
wishes can be very simple but fulfilling them has a positive impact on the
patient as well as the team.
